After the earthquake in Haiti, the American Red Cross became the go-to nonprofit for donating to the Haitian relief effort, since they could be trusted to properly handle your money. Or so we thought. Now it turns out that of the $255 MILLION the Red Cross collected for the relief effort, only $80 MILLION of it actually made its way to Haiti. That leaves $175 MILLION of YOUR donations unaccounted for.

The obvious question is: Where did it go?

Well, according to the website for the Red Cross, quote, “On those rare occasions when donations exceed Red Cross expenses for a specific disaster, contributions are used to prepare for and serve victims of OTHER disasters.

“Your gift enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance to victims of all disasters.”

In a few months, Tecmo Bowl Throwback ($TBA) will let you relive your gridiron glory days of the late 80’s. Available as a download this spring on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network, the old school omnipotent features online multiplayer (find your old nemesis on Facebook and finally beat his ass), customizable teams and rosters, and the ability to switch between 2D (8 bit-style) or 3D (shown above) views. A while back, Riptide wondered aloud who might be the next celebrity to get busted driving drunk in a Bentley on Miami Beach.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner. At 3:37 this morning, Heat forward Dorell Wright was busted “driving erratically” in his 2005 Bentley, according to TMZ. He didn’t have insurance information on him and was driving on a suspended license.

A glance at his Miami-Dade driving record reveals Wright has a history of problems on the road. In 2005, he was fined for illegally parking in a handicapped spot. In May 2008, he was busted doing 60 in a 35 MPH zone, and paid a $184 fine. He’s been ticketed for running stop signs three times since 2008, and the last two times, in October 2009, he failed to appear before a judge. Hence the suspended license.
