6 NJ women hospitalized after butt-enhancement by unlicensed provider

Whoa! Females must really be trying to be the next Buffy the Body overnight, or should I say over a visit to their doctor! I didn’t know it was this serious these days, I guess going to the gym and getting your workout on is overrated. Six ladies were injured after some unlicensed provider injected non-medical grade silicone into their butt. I hope they didn’t get that silicone from Home Depot!!!
NYDN reports:

NEWARK – Six women in New Jersey are recovering after they received buttocks-enhancement injections containing silicone used to caulk bathtubs.

State health officials say the women, from Essex County, apparently underwent cosmetic procedures from unlicensed providers.

Investigators have not determined if the cases are related.

No arrests have been made.

Instead of medical-grade silicone, the women received a diluted version of nonmedical-grade silicone.

State epidemiologist Tina Tan says there’s the risk for more serious complications when infections are not treated early.
