A woman who claims she launched Puff Daddy’s career is suing the hip-hop mogul for $12 million — claiming he fired her from his Bad Boy record label because she was old and disabled.

Francesca Spero just filed a lawsuit in federal court in NY — in which she describes herself as a “51-year-old white woman” who served as a high ranking exec for Diddy since 1998.

In the docs, Spero claims she and Diddy — aka Sean Combs — butted heads after she informed him that she needed major hip surgery in 2008 … and then later “suffered a relapse” to an addiction to prescription medication and alcohol.

Fox announced today that it ordered the Jamie Fox Project, a half-hour sketch comedy series from Executive Producer Jamie Foxx that’ll debut in prime time sometime during the 2010-11 season. Affion Crockett (The Boondocks) will star in and also serve as a producer in the comedy, which the network says will offer a “fresh take on pop culture, including spoofs of movie trailers, commercials, TV shows, and music videos.” The yet-to-be-named cast will include up-and-coming comedians.

This sure ain’t good for T.I. Looks like him and Tiny were “riding dirty” and got busted by the police for possession. I’m sure T.I. will find a way outta this mess like the last one he got into. Eh-hem. TMZ reports:

The honeymoon is over for T.I. and his wife Tameka Cottle because TMZ has learned they were arrested tonight and booked for the alleged possession of a controlled substance.
Law enforcement sources tell us L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over the multi-platinum selling rapper and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka.

The couple just got married on July 30 in Miami, and T.I. — real name Clifford Harris Jr. — is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges.

We’re told T.I. and Tameka are in custody right now. Bail amount is $10,000

The Internal Revenue Service won’t be selling off Nashville rapper Young Buck’s worldly possessions anytime soon. Their fate is now subject to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

David Darnell Brown, who performs under the stage name Young Buck, filed for protection under Chapter 13 of the bankruptcy code earlier this month. The filing came soon after IRS personnel carried out an early-morning raid on Brown’s lakeside home in Hendersonville, seizing much of his personal property.

Just call Troy Polamalu the man with the million dollar hair.

The long, flowing black hair that tumbles out of Polamalu’s helmet and down his back – it’s nearly three feet long – has been insured for $1 million by Head and Shoulders, the shampoo brand that is endorsed by the Pittsburgh Steelers safety.

The insurance was obtained through Lloyd’s of London, which did not reveal what must be done to Polamalu’s hair for anyone to collect on the policy.

Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting that the Nevada Gaming Control Board is investigating Marcus Jordan, the underage son of hoops legend Michael Jordan, for tweets he made about a wild night at a Vegas nightclub.

Marcus, a 19-year-old sophomore guard for Central Florida, tweeted that he spent $35,000 in one evening at Haze, a nightclub at the Aria Hotel and Casino.

LAS VEGAS — Paris Hilton was arrested on the Las Vegas Strip late Friday after police saw a cloud of what they suspected was marijuana smoke wafting from the windows of a black Cadillac Escalade driven by her boyfriend, then found a small amount of cocaine in her possession.

A crowd quickly gathered near the stop on Las Vegas Boulevard near the Wynn Las Vegas resort at shortly before midnight Friday, and Hilton was taken into the hotel “to keep her safe” during the initial investigation, police Lt. Wayne Holman said.
