After the Detroit Pistons edition, Jordan Brand presents the latest Air Jordan 6 Retro, this time inspired by the LA Lakers. The basketball sneaker comes in a black/varsity purple7varsity maize colorway and will be released on May 15th.

The Jordan Brand has big plans for 2010.  Here is one of them.  The Air Jordan Flight 45 Chicago Quickstrike is a combination of two of the best Jordan classics, the Air Jordan VI and the Air Jordan IX.  It also has the style of a very recognizable colourway, which MJ used during the 94-95 season comeback.  The palette and detailing is Air Jordan X Chicago so this is a classic shoe made from classic shoes.  Talk about history rolled into one.  The black and white combo was excellently executed with the tongue, lace and strap combo.  Get yours now on stores everywhere.

The part of Nike have always gone beyond themselves in terms of innovation and design to create something inspired by what the most recognized basketball players Michael Jordan has put in front of them. The fact it holds such distinction around the world it is quite interesting to see what is in store for the quarter of a century celebrations.

Here is the first look at the “Silver Anniversary Collection” which takes on a relatively minimal concept with each of the 25 editions of the Air Jordan finished in complete white. Part 1 of the collection features I, VI, XI, XVI and XX1 and you can be sure to hear a lot more about the collection.

Inspired by Air Command Force and recently honored by Billy Hoyle Hyperize from White Men Can’t Jump pack, the classic basketball shoe, Jordan Flight 45 from Nike has been given a unique colorway of with a tumbled leather upper, blue and gray accents plus a neon yellow midsole with black speckles which ties in nicely with the ‘Command Forces’ most recognizable design element. Other niceties are the Velcro strap across the front and a super cushioned tongue with a rubberised tonal Jumpman logo!

They sport a completely black upper constructed from leather, along with silver accents as well as speckled effect above the midsole. A bland colorway, they are still bound to turn the heads of fanatics. They are now available at Jordan Brand retailers and are going for $140.

The Polka Dot design seemed to really interest the design team at Jordan Brand, as several versions and colorways in the classic Air Jordan 1 (I) model are slated to release, featuring this attention-grabbing design.
